What time does school in PWC start and end? It’s different for elementary, middle and high schools
Bell times for school year 2017–18 are posted on the Prince William County Schools Transportation Services web page at https://pwcs.edu/departments/transportation_services
Bell times have been added for Covington-Harper Elementary School, opening this fall.
Generally, high schools will be in session from 7:30 a.m.–2:10 p.m.; middle schools from about 8:10 a.m.–2:50 p.m.; and elementary schools from approximately 9 a.m.–3:40 p.m. Many elementary schools open about 8 a.m. and dismiss about 2:50 p.m., so please check the schedule for individual schools.
The School Division continues to employ a three-tier system so that the same buses and drivers can be used to transport high school, middle school, and elementary school students in succession.
