Victim reports strong-armed robbery by an acquaintance in Woodbridge


Strong-Armed Robbery – On September 28 at 2:23AM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which occurred earlier that morning in the area of Featherstone Rd and Alabama Ave in Woodbridge (22191). The investigation revealed that the victim, a 22-year-old man of Woodbridge, was walking in the above area when he was approached from behind by two unknown males. During the encounter, the victim was struck on the head which knocked him to the ground. The suspects then rummaged through the victim’s pockets and took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area on foot. The victim responded to a local hospital with minor injuries where an officer working an off-duty security detail was notified. There are no suspect descriptions available at this time. The investigation continues.

Strong-Armed Robbery – On September 25 at 3:52PM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which occurred in the 13600 block of Mapledale Ave in Woodbridge (22193) earlier that afternoon. The investigation revealed that the victim, an 18-year-old man of Woodbridge, was involved in a verbal altercation with the accused, an acquaintance. During the course of the encounter, the accused threatened the victim then took his cell phone, photo identification card, and money. Further investigation revealed that the accused was also wanted for two burglaries which occurred at a residence located in the 2700 block of Brier Pond Cir in Woodbridge. Following the investigation, officers obtained an additional warrant for the arrest of the accused, identified as Justyn Keith VALENTINE. Attempts to located the accused have been unsuccessful.

Wanted for 1 count of robbery, 2 counts of burglary, 2 counts of conspiracy to commit a felony, 1 count of grand larceny of a firearm, and 1 count of obtaining money by false pretenses
