Victim of shooting in Woodbridge listed as uncooperative, police report
Shooting Investigation – On April 20, 2020 at 4:41PM, Prince William County police officers responded to investigate a shooting that was reported to have occurred at the Bayvue Apartments located in the 1400 block of Bayside Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) at approximately 4 p.m.
The victim reported he was in the area with an acquaintance and sustained a minor injury to his lower body when shots were fired. The victim is not cooperative with detectives in the investigation, reported MPO Renee Carr, representative for the Prince William County Police Department.
At this time, the incident is not believed to be random. No additional injuries or property damage were reported. No suspect description is available at this time, MPO Carr added.
