Victim, 14, reports being robbed at knifepoint in Woodbridge

Armed Robbery – On February 22 at 11:50AM, officers responded to the area of Northgate Dr. and Beacon Ct. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery.

The investigation revealed that the victim, a 14-year-old male, arranged to meet an acquaintance, identified as the accused, in the above area. During the encounter the accused brandished a knife and demanded money from the victim. The victim fled on his bicycle from the area and contacted the police. No injuries were reported.

Responding officers, including a police K-9 searched the area for the accused, who was later located at his residence and taken into custody without incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as a 16-year-old male juvenile, was arrested.
