US Rep. Spanberger asks for comments about US Postal Service

US Rep. Abigail Spanberger (VA-7), who represents part of Prince William County, VA and has a local office in the Tackett’s Mill Shopping Center in Lake Ridge, wants to learn about residents’ experiences with the US Postal Service.  If you want to tell the Congresswoman about your experiences, contact information is below.

Spanberger said, in a news release, “Many Virginians continue to experience unacceptable mail delivery and service delays — often originating from the Sandston facility. I’m relaunching my office’s survey to hear your thoughts and concerns.

Following a new audit report released this week detailing operational issues at the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) processing and distribution facility in Sandston, VA (outside Richmond), the Congresswoman said she wants “to learn about your experiences with the USPS.”

PW Police report passenger dies from injuries sustained in an April 15 traffic collision

The investigation revealed the driver of a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup truck was traveling westbound on Yates Ford Rd. approaching Evans Ford Rd. when a 1993 Buick Roadmaster traveling eastbound on Yates Ford Rd. entered the intersection in front of the truck’s path of travel. The truck and Roadmaster collided within the intersection. The driver and female passenger of the Roadmaster were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. A Pug in the Roadmaster was declared deceased on scene.
