Upcoming May sessions at libraries aim to help children get ready for kindergarten

Parents can help children who will enter kindergarten in August 2017 get excited about starting school and foster their successful transition to kindergarten.

Take him or her to a Kindergarten Readiness session offered by staff from Prince William County Public Schools during May at Prince William County Public Library locations. All sessions begin at 7 p.m. Spanish sessions are scheduled at some libraries.

Central Community Library (8601 Mathis Avenue, Manassas, VA 20110) on: Monday, May 1, 7 p.m. or Tuesday, May 9, 7 p.m. (Spanish)

Chinn Park Library (13065 Chinn Park Drive, Prince William, VA 22192) on Monday, May 1, 7 p.m. or Tuesday, May 9, 7 p.m. (Spanish)

Potomac Community Library (2201 Opitz Boulevard, Woodbridge, VA 22191) on Tuesday, May 9, 7 p.m. or Wednesday, May 10, 7 p.m. (Spanish)

Montclair Community Library (5049 Waterway Drive, Dumfries, VA 22025) on Wednesday, May 10, 7 p.m. 

Bull Run Regional Library (8051 Ashton Avenue, Manassas, VA 20109) on Thursday, May 11, 7 p.m. (English and Spanish)

Haymarket Gainesville Community Library (14870 Lightner Road, Haymarket, VA 20169) on Thursday, May 11, 7 p.m.
