Two men charged with aggravated sexual battery in separate incidents; victims ages 8 and 11

Aggravated Sexual Battery – On November 16 at 5:33PM, detectives from the Special Victims Unit responded to a home located in the Dumfries (22026) area of Prince William County to investigate a sexual assault. The victim, an 11-year-old girl, reported to police that she was sexually assaulted by the accused earlier that day. The accused was hired to work on the home where the victim resided. The victim informed a grandparent of the encounters who then notified police. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Juan Carlos CLAROS-LOPEZ, was arrested.

Aggravated Sexual Battery – On November 16 at 5:33PM, detectives from the Special Victims Unit responded to a home located in the Woodbridge (22193) area of Prince William County to investigate a sexual assault. The victim, an 8-year-old girl, reported to police that she was sexually assaulted by the accused, a family acquaintance, on more than one occasion earlier that day. The victim informed her parent of the encounters who then notified police. With the assistance of Fairfax County police, the accused was located at his home in Annandale. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Catalino TORRES-LAINES, was arrested.
