Two Greater Prince William area residents will be among the 37 young Virginians who will be appointed as Senate Pages when the legislature convenes on Wednesday, Jan. 10, according to a news release.

Jayden Ali of Lake Ridge, who attends Benton Middle School, and Jacob Kirkland of Manassas Park, who attends Manassas Park Middle School, are among the 37 who will be appointed. Thirty-five schools throughout Virginia are represented in the incoming class.

Members of the Senate selected the class of 2018 from 190 applicants who sought admission to the Senate Page Leadership Program for the upcoming 60-day legislative session.
