Two arrested in multi-jurisdiction string of 20+ commercial burglaries

Commercial Burglary Series – Two suspects have been charged by Prince William County Property Crimes Detectives following a multi-jurisdictional investigation into a series of commercial burglaries which targeted businesses in the Northern Virginia region.

Both suspects, identified below, face multiple charges in connection to over 20 burglaries which occurred in Prince William County, Loudoun County, Town of Leesburg, Frederick County, City of Manassas, Stafford County, the City of Fredericksburg and Fairfax County.

In Prince William County, the burglaries began in August of 2015 and continued through October. The businesses targeted in this series included: the China King Buffet on Potomac Mills Rd in Woodbridge, the Foster’s Grill on Bristow Center Dr in Bristow, the Teppanyaki Grill and Buffet on Shoppers Sq in Manassas, the Metro PCS Store on Shoppers Sq in Manassas, and the Hunan Garden on Hedges Run Dr in Woodbridge.

In most of the cases, damage was noted to the business and an undisclosed amount of money was reported missing. Additional property including a laptop and cell phones were also reported missing.

Detectives from the Prince William County Police Department worked in coordination with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, City of Manassas Police Department, Fairfax County Police Department, Frederick County Sheriff’s Office and City of Fredericksburg Police Department.

The investigation continues into the possibility of additional arrests and charges.

Charged with 4 counts of burglary, 1 attempted burglary, 3 counts of grand larceny, 1 count of destruction of property and 2 counts of conspiracy to commit a felony
               
Lea Marie CULBREATH, 24, of 7617 Chadds Landing Way in Manassas
Charged with 4 counts of burglary, 3 counts of grand larceny, 1 count of destruction of property and 2 counts of conspiracy to commit a felony
