Two arrested in connection with armed robbery; other armed robberies reported

**UPDATES**

Armed Robbery *ARRESTS – On October 10, Prince William County police detectives with the Robbery Unit identified the suspects involved in an armed robbery which occurred in a parking lot located in the 2700 block of Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge on September 30. After the robbery, the suspects used the victim’s stolen credit cards at a business in Prince William County. Detectives with the Robbery Unit subsequently obtained warrants for the arrest of both of the suspects, identified as Dominque Lavae CAMPBELL and Sharnel Danese PAYNE. On October 23, both of the accused were located and arrested without incident in the 17400 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries.

Dominque Lavae CAMPBELL, 24, of 205 Washington St in Woodbridge
Charged with 1 counts of robbery, 3 count of credit card theft, and 3 counts of credit card fraud

Sharnel Danese PAYNE, 39, of 403 Newcomb St NE, Apt # 4, in Washington, D.C.
Charged with 1 counts of robbery, 3 count of credit card theft, and 3 counts of credit card fraud

Court Date: Pending | Bond: Both were held WITHOUT bond

       
Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On September 30 at 9:14AM, officers responded to a parking lot in the 2700 block of Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The victim, 23-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was walking on a sidewalk in the above area when she was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the suspect displayed a knife and demanded money. The suspect took the victim’s purse and cell phone before fleeing the area in a light blue vehicle driven by an unknown woman. No injuries were reported. Officers searched the area for the suspect vehicle which was not located. The investigation continues.

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On October 21 at 11:00AM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which occurred around 9:00PM at the ATM outside of the Wells Fargo Bank located at 2876 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193). The investigation revealed that the victim, a 44-year-old man of Falls Church, reported to police that he was walking away from the ATM when an unknown male approached him. During the encounter, the suspect displayed a knife and demanded money from the victim. The suspect took the victim’s wallet before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported. The victim initially fled the area before contacting police. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 30 & 35 years of age, 5’06”, 160lbs, with a thin build and black hair
Last seen wearing grey sweatshirt and black pants

Armed Robbery – On October 21 at 6:46PM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which occurred earlier that evening in the 2700 block of Landings Point Lp in Woodbridge (22191). The victim, a 59-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was attempting to deliver pizza to a customer in the above area. When the victim arrived, he was approached by three unknown men. During the encounter, one of the suspects brandished a firearm then took the pizza. The victim was able to flee the area and responded back to his place of employment where police were contacted. No injuries were reported. Officers searched for area for the suspects who were not located. There are no suspect descriptions available at this time. The investigation continues.

Armed Robbery – On October 20 at 11:50PM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which occurred earlier that evening in the 1400 block of Horner Rd in Woodbridge (22191). The victim, a 20-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when he was approached by three Hispanic males displaying knives. During the encounter, the suspects took the victim’s cell phone. The victim was able to flee the area then contact police. No injuries were reported. Officers searched for area for the suspects who were not located. The investigation continues.
Suspect Descriptions:
Three Hispanic males, approximately 4’07” with thin builds
Last seen wearing dark pants with hoodies
