Triangle woman seriously stabbed while walking in broad daylight

Stabbing Investigation – The investigation revealed that the victim, a 43-year-old woman of Triangle, was walking in the above area when she was approached by another woman. During the encounter, the victim was stabbed in the upper body. The suspect fled the area on foot as police were being contacted. The victim was flown to an area hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive.  A police K-9 and helicopter responding to search for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.

Black female, 5’09”, with curly hair
Last seen wearing a white shirt, pink pants and white shoes

Armed Robbery – On September 15 at 9:31PM, officers responded to the 14100 block of Bay Vista Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 66-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was in the above area when he was approached by two unknown males. During the encounter, one of the suspects brandished a firearm and demanded the victim’s property. The suspects took the victim’s wallet and cell phone before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 searched the surrounding area for the suspects who were not located. The investigation continues.

Black male, between 20 & 30 years of age, 5’09”, 175lbs, with short hair dyed blonde
