Teens 17, 16 and 14 charged with garage burglaries in Woodbridge

Residential Burglaries – On September 17 at 3:37AM, an officer was conducting proactive patrol in the 2700 block of Wakewater Way in Woodbridge (22191) when he observed a suspicious person running down an alley between several homes, according to Officer Nathan Probus, spokesman for Prince William County Police Department. At the same time, the officer heard glass breaking in the backyard of a nearby residence.

Further investigation revealed that several garage doors in the area had been tampered. While searching one of the detached garages, officers located and detained three juvenile males. Following the investigation, the juveniles were arrested.

Residential Burglary- On September 17 at 11:34PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 10800 block of Gambril Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. A resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 10:00PM and 11:15PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the apartment through a window which had the screen removed. A computer laptop was reported missing.

Residential Burglary- On September 15 at 6:30PM, officers responded to a residence in the 16700 block of Blackjack Oak Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 7:45AM and 6:05PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear basement door which was found damaged. Money was reported missing.
