Suspects drove victim to doctor’s appointment, then reportedly demanded medications at knifepoint

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On February 8 at 12:43AM, officers responded to the 15300 block of Edgehill Dr in Dumfries (22025) investigate a robbery. The victim, a 21 year old man of Maryland, reported to police that he met two known men in Maryland and drove to the above area.  During the encounter, one of the men brandished a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of money and cell phone from the victim before fleeing the area. No injuries were reported.  This is not a random incident. The investigation continues.

Armed Robbery – On February 7 at 12:53AM, officers responded to the 4000 block of Jasper Lp in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery.  The victim, a 29 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was making a pizza delivery to two unknown men in the above area. During the encounter, a third unknown man approached the victim from behind and brandished a firearm. The men took an undisclosed amount of money and the pizza before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects who were not located.

Black male, between 15 & 19 years of age, 5’9” with a thin build
Last seen wearing a black hoodie

Black male, between 15 & 19 years of age, 6’00” with a thin build
Last seen wearing a blue hoodie

Black male, unknown years of age, 6’00” with a heavy build
Last seen wearing a blue hoodie and blue hat

Armed Robbery – On February 5 at 2:15PM, officers responded to the 12600 block of Darby Brooke Ct in Woodbridge (22192) investigate a robbery. The victim, a 31 year old man of Maryland, reported to police that he met two known men in Maryland who drove him to the above area for a doctor’s appointment.  After the appointment, one of the men brandished a knife and demanded the victim’s prescription medications.  The suspects then fled the area and police were contacted. No injuries were reported. This is not a random incident.  The investigation continues.

Residential Burglary – On February 7 at 8:41AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3700 block of Masthead Tr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. A resident of the home reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00PM on February 6 and 6:00AM on February 7. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A cell phone was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On February 5 at 10:22AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 11200 block of Soldiers Ridge Cir in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. A resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred between 4:30PM and 5:00PM on January 31. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the apartment. Jewelry and money were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On January 30 at 2:30PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3500 block of Woolman Dr in Haymarket (20169) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM on January 5 and 10:00AM on January 28. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence.  Jewelry was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On February 5 at 10:29PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13200 block of Queensdale Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 11:00AM and 1:30PM, entry was attempted into the home through the front door which was found damaged. No entry was made and no property was reported missing. 

**ARRESTS**

Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery – On February 7 at 9:30AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16300 block of Flotsam Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 41 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation on February 6 at 12:00PM which escalated.  During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim by the neck then threw her to the ground and choked her.  The parties eventually separated and police were contacted after the victim received treatment at a local hospital for minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Kirk Bruce BROOKS, 46, of the 16300 block of Flotsam Ln in Woodbridge
Charged with strangulation, domestic assault & battery, and preventing the summoning of law enforcement
Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On February 7 at 2:25AM, officers responded to the Hampton Inn located at 7300 Atlas Walk Way in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 27 year of man of Manassas, reported to police that he and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation with escalated.  During the encounter, the accused struck the victim in the face and police were contacted.  As the accused was being placed under arrest by responding officers, she resisted and struck an officer in the lower body. The accused was quickly detained without further incident. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
