Suspect wore black hoodie, carried a black backpack
Armed Robbery – On October 3 at 7:45PM, officers responded to the 2000 block of Paddle Boat Ln. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery.
The victim, a 51-year-old man, reported to police that while walking in the above area, he was approached by an unknown man wearing a hooded sweatshirt. During the encounter, the suspect brandished a handgun towards the victim and demanded his money. The suspect took the victim’s wallet before fleeing on foot towards Clipper Dr.
The victim remained on scene and contacted the police. A police K-9 responded to search for the suspect who was not located. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

A black male, 5’10, with a skinny build, between 17-23 years of age Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, carrying a black backpack
