Suspect sought in malicious wounding and robbery
Malicious Wounding | Strong Armed Robbery – On November 12th at 7:49PM, police responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 15300 block of Inlet Pl in Dumfries (22025) around 4:30PM.
The victim, a 17 year old male of Dumfries, reported to police that he was with other known acquaintances in the above area when one of them took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from him and ran towards a vehicle.
When the victim went to get the money back, the suspect struck the victim in the face, knocking him unconscious. The victim regained consciousness and was taken to area hospital where police were contacted. This incident is not random and the investigation continues.
