Suspect sought in alleged strong armed robbery and domestic assault in Dumfries apartment

Strong-armed Robbery | Domestic Related – On June 11 at 1:18AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 3100 block of Chesapeake Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a domestic. The victim reported to police that she was involved in a verbal altercation with the accused, an acquaintance, which escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim’s cell phone as she attempted to contact police. The accused then assaulted the victim before he left the apartment with the victim’s phone.  Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Aaron Frederick BANKS. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
