Suspect in Woodbridge service station holdup estimated to be age 50

Incidents and arrests released on Friday, April 15, 2016

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On April 15 at 10:00AM, officers responded to the Shell service station located at 2990 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanding money. The suspect then fled the area in a blue Nissan Versa hatchback with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.
Suspect Description:
Black male, approximately 50 years of age, 5’08”, 180lbs with a medium build
Last seen wearing a black mask, black and white striped hoodie sweatshirt, and black pants

**ARRESTS**

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On April 15 at 1:45AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2600 block of Constitution Cir in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a disorderly person. Officers arrived and made contact with the man, identified as the accused, who exhibited signs of intoxication. When the officers attempted to detain the accused, he resisted and kicked an officer in the chest. The accused was quickly detained without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
