Suspect in daytime robbery of Linton Hall Rd. Burger King wore a red and white hat

**INCIDENTS**

Strong Armed Robbery – On October 17 at 10:28AM, officers responded to the Burger King located at 7640 Linton Hall Rd in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a robbery. Employees and several witnesses reported to police that an unknown male walked into the restaurant and approached the counter. When the case register was opened after the suspect placed an order, he reached across the counter and took an undisclosed amount of money from the register as the cashier attempted to stop him. The suspect then fled the area in a blue Ford Explorer. Officers searched the area for the suspect and the vehicle which were not found. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.
Suspect Description:
White male, mid 50s, 6’00”, 190lbs with a thin build, with collar length hair and a crooked tooth
Last seen wearing a red & white hat, long-sleeved grey hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans

Residential Burglary – On October 17 at 6:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12600 block of Warrenton Dr in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that burglary occurred sometime between 5:30AM on October 12 and 5:15PM on October 17. Two windows in the rear of the residence were found shattered. Jewelry was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On October 17 at 3:49PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 7600 block of Cupids Cart Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that burglary occurred sometime between 11:30AM on October 16 and 3:30PM on October 17. Entry was made into the apartment through an unsecured window. A firearm and cell phone were reported missing.
