Stolen car crashes into Woodbridge VA residence; no one injured; driver flees before police arrive

**INCIDENTS**

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Strangulation – On June 12th at 9:30PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1700 block of Pine Shadows Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 35 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and prevented her from leaving the residence. At one point, the accused stuffed toilet paper into the victim’s mouth. The victim was eventually able to leave the home and contact police. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants against the accused.

Hit & Run | Grand Larceny Auto – On June 12th at 7:12AM, officer responded to a residence located in the 12000 block of Willowood Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for a report of a vehicle that crashed into a residence. Officers arrived at the home and discovered a vehicle which had crashed through the garage. The driver of the vehicle fled prior to police arriving in the area. No injuries were reported by anyone inside the residence. Upon further investigation, officers determined that the vehicle was stolen from the 3100 block of Fennegan Ct. Officers also learned that other vehicles in the immediate area had been tampered with. No suspect(s) was seen in any of the incidents.

Commercial Burglary – On June 13th at 1:04AM, officers responded to the Quik Stop located at 18020 Main St in Dumfries (22026) to investigate an alarm. Police responded and located a side glass door to the business which was shattered. Officers conducted a search of the business and no suspect(s) was located. Cigarettes, valued around $230, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were reported missing.

Commercial Burglary – On June 13th at 4:18AM, officers responded to the Shell Service Station located at 7025 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. A caller reported to police that they were delivering newspapers when they discovered the glass door to the above business was broken out. Officers conducted a search of the business and no suspect(s) was located. Cigarettes, valued around $1,600, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On June 12th at 12:45PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4100 block of Hoffman Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00PM on June 11th and 9:00AM on June 12th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into a shed on the property. Two motorcycle helmets and two pairs of sunglasses, total value around $800, were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On June 12th at 4:45AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3600 block of Masthead Tl in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 11:10PM and 11:17PM on June 11th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a window which was broken out. A gaming console, TV, and laptop, total value around $1,700, were reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Strangulation – On June 13th at 2:28AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10100 block of Brandon Way in Manassas (20109) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 44 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused choked the victim. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charged with strangulation

**ARRESTS** (Continued)

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On June 12th at 6:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10000 block of Hume Ct in Bristow (20136) after receiving information that a missing juvenile was there. Once at the home, officers located the juvenile, identified as the accused. During the encounter the accused kicked one of the officers to the lower body in an attempt to flee. The accused was eventually detained without further incident. Minor injuries were reported.

A 14 year old female juvenile of Triangle
Charged with assault & battery on a LEO
Court date: unavailable | Status: held at the Juvenile Detention Center
