Someone left water running in residential burglary case

**INCIDENTS**

Residential Burglary – On June 27 at 9:40PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2300 block of Kew Garden Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed the burglary occurred sometime between 6:30AM and 9:00PM. There were no signs of forced entry. Mustard sauce was sprayed onto a wall and floor. A water valve on the second floor was left running which leaked through the ceiling onto the first floor. Jewelry, cash, electronic devices, and some clothes were reported missing. There is no suspect information available at this time. The investigation continues.

Residential Burglary – On June 27 at 10:36AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1400 block of Horner Rd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary in progress. The investigation revealed that an unknown man was seen walking in residence. When a resident of the home saw the man, he left the residence through a basement door. Entry appears to have been made into the residence through a rear door, which was found damaged. Further investigation revealed that the suspect might have been known to the residents of the home. The investigation continues.
