Second arrest in March 14 armed robbery at Wawa in Woodbridge

Armed Robbery *ADDITIONAL ARREST—On Sunday, April 12, 2020, the second suspect sought in connection to the robbery that occurred at the Wawa located at 2051 Daniel Stuart Sq. in Woodbridge (22191) on March 14, 2020 was arrested. The accused, identified as Todd Christopher LAWSON, was located and taken into custody in Washington DC by members of Washington Metropolitan Police Department. The suspect will remain incarcerated in Washington DC until extradited back to Prince William County.

Armed Robbery *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED [Previously Released] – On April 9, 2020, detectives with the Prince William County Police Department’s Robbery Unit identified the second suspect involved in the robbery that occurred March 14, 2020 at the Wawa located at 2051 Daniel Stuart Sq. in Woodbridge (22191). Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of the suspect, identified as Todd Christopher LAWSON. An additional suspect was previously arrested in connection to this case on April 5. Attempts to locate the second suspect have been unsuccessful.

Armed Robbery *ARREST [Previously Released] – On April 5, 2020 the suspect sought in connection to both the robbery that occurred at the Wawa located at 2051 Daniel Stuart Sq. in Woodbridge (22191) on March 14 and the larceny that occurred at the Sheetz located at 2500 Caton Hill Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) on March 30, was arrested. The accused, identified as Delfino Alexander RAMIREZ, was located and taken into custody in Washington DC by members of Washington Metropolitan Police Department. The suspect will remain incarcerated in Washington DC until extradited back to Prince William County. Detectives with the Prince William County Police Department are continuing the investigation to identify the other suspect involved.

Armed Robbery *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED [Previously Released] – On April 1, 2020 detectives with the Prince William County Police Department’s Robbery Unit identified one of the suspects involved in the robbery that occurred at the Wawa at 2051 Daniel Stuart Sq. in Woodbridge (22191) on March 14, 2020. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of the suspect, identified as Delfino Alexander RAMIREZ. RAMIREZ is also wanted in connection to a larceny that occurred at the Sheetz located at 2500 Caton Hill Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) on March 30. Attempts to locate the suspect have been unsuccessful. Detectives are continuing the investigation to identify the other suspect involved.

Armed Robbery *UPDATE [Previously Released] – On March 16, 2020 detectives with the Prince William County Police Department’s Robbery Unit developed a second suspect in connection to the robbery that was reported to have occurred at the Wawa located at 2051 Daniel Stuart Sq. in Woodbridge (22191) on March 14. The investigation revealed that the second suspect entered and left the store just before the robbery occurred and fled with the initial suspect after the robbery. Detectives are continuing the investigation to identify the suspects involved.

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On March 14, 2020 at 1:35AM, Prince William County police officers responded to the Wawa located at 2051 Daniel Stuart Sq. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the store and walked behind the counter. During the encounter, the suspect took tobacco products and fled the store. An employee followed the suspect out of the store and confronted him. At that point, the accused brandished a knife before fleeing in a silver sedan. No injuries were reported.
