Second annual Kingsbrooke doggie swim is Sept. 15

The Kingsbrooke pool season has “Gone to the Dogs”! The Second Annual Kingsbrooke Doggie Swim is scheduled for Saturday, Sept.15 from 1 to 4 p.m. All dogs and their “well behaved parents” are welcome.
To help all those animals less fortunate than those attending the Doggie Swim , organizers will be asking for a $5 donation or a clean used blanket or towel for the Humane Society.
The Kingsbrooke community is located off Linton Hall Road in Gainesville.

Dale City and Mullen Elementary named “Green Ribbon” Schools
The day in and day out efforts Dale City and Mullen Elementary to provide engaging environmental and sustainability education activities and learning opportunities that will have a lasting impact on these students’ lives" have prompted the2024 U.S. Department of Education to name them Green Ribbon Schools.
