Rolling Thunder’s “Ride for Freedom” gets a lift from Minnieland Academy

Minnieland Academy will continue its support of Rolling Thunder’s annual “Ride for Freedom” by providing Minnieland buses to transport Gold Star Mothers to 2016 Memorial Day events in Washington DC.

Minnieland Academy has partnered with Rolling Thunder for almost a decade.  “Gold Star Mothers” are mothers who have lost a son or daughter in the service of our country.  For the ninth consecutive year, Minnieland Academy has provided its buses to transport the mothers to various brunches, banquets and other commemorative events in and around the Washington DC area.

“On behalf of Rolling Thunder ® National, we extend a heartfelt thank-you to Minnieland Academy for its continued support of a very important part of our annual “Ride For Freedom,” said Bob Rivers, Rolling Thunder® National Board Member and Gold Star Coordinator.

Minnieland Academy is proud to support military families and assist with transportation needs during the annual “Ride for Freedom” event this year.
