Employment And Summer Job Fair
Are you a high school student looking for summer employment or a high school senior who plans to enter the workforce, military, or post-secondary training programs after graduation?

The employment and summer job fair gives students the opportunity to learn more about a variety of career pathways and summer employment opportunities. During this event, participating businesses will highlight available opportunities, provide employment information, and screen potential candidates.

Be sure to check out the short, informal “student workshop” sessions. Learn about tips and tricks from industry professionals about the employment application process.

Students interested in attending are encouraged to contact their school counselor or school’s college and career counselor at their school for more information.

PW Police report passenger dies from injuries sustained in an April 15 traffic collision

The investigation revealed the driver of a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup truck was traveling westbound on Yates Ford Rd. approaching Evans Ford Rd. when a 1993 Buick Roadmaster traveling eastbound on Yates Ford Rd. entered the intersection in front of the truck’s path of travel. The truck and Roadmaster collided within the intersection. The driver and female passenger of the Roadmaster were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. A Pug in the Roadmaster was declared deceased on scene.
