PWC students delve into French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Latin at Governor’s Schools

Sixteen students from Prince William County high schools are concentrating on specific foreign languages at academies through the Governor’s School.

Attending the Governor’s Foreign Language Academies at Washington & Lee University are:

French: Claire Graser (Battlefield), Sophia Elhadidi (Colgan), Julia Worthen (Colgan), Helena Boyd (Patriot), Milton Sosa Cordon (Stonewall Jackson), Tiffany Barahona (Woodbridge), and Gaby Hernandez (Woodbridge)

German: Natalie Gutierrez (Hylton)

Spanish: Caitlin Nguyen (Battlefield), Mary Hawkes (Colgan), Liliana Gomez (Woodbridge)

Attending the Governor’s Foreign Language Academies at Randolph-Macon College are:

Japanese: Melody Park (Battlefield), Marialejandr Ariza-Florez (Hylton), Nathan Luevano (Potomac)

Latin: Michael Carter (Battlefield) and Camille Owen (Battlefield)
