PWC Police issue lookout for suspect with goatee in Sept. 21 sexual assault of 15-year-old

Sexual Battery - On Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 at 1:20 p.m., Prince William County police responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the area of the Cloverdale 7-11 located at 14820 Cloverdale Rd in Woodbridge (22193).

The victim, a 15-year-old female of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was walking in the 14800 block of Danville Rd when she was approached by an unknown man. The man began to ask her questions and followed her to the area of the 7-11 on Cloverdale Rd. Once there, the victim attempted to walk past the man. At this point, the man exposed himself and touched the victim inappropriately. No injuries were reported. Police and detectives canvassed the surrounding neighborhoods with the attached bulletin. A K-9 was also utilized in the search.

A lookout has been posted for a suspect described as a light skinned black male, between 30 & 35 years of age, 5’9”-6”, thin build with a black goatee tied in two braids and last seen wearing blue jeans, white shirt, black hat and sunglasses. The investigation revealed the driver of a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup truck was traveling westbound on Yates Ford Rd. approaching Evans Ford Rd. when a 1993 Buick Roadmaster traveling eastbound on Yates Ford Rd. entered the intersection in front of the truck’s path of travel. The truck and Roadmaster collided within the intersection. The driver and female passenger of the Roadmaster were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. A Pug in the Roadmaster was declared deceased on scene.
