Arrests
• Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related –
On Sunday, Dec. 12, 202112 at 6:30AM, officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to a residence located in the 4000 block of Tarpon Ln. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic, according to MPO Renee Carr, public information officer. Upon arriving at the home, officers located a 20-year-old man with a severe laceration to his head.

The investigation revealed that the victim and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused threw a glass object striking the victim. The victim left the residence where officers encountered him upon their arrival. The accused was taken into custody without incident. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Kaitlyn Alessandra LASSITER, was arrested.

• Abduction | Domestic Related – On Monday, Dec. 13, 2021 at 4:50PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4700 block of Hedrick Ln. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic.

The victim, a 23-year-old woman, reported to police that she and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused physically prevented the victim from leaving the room and at one point grabbed and twisted her wrist before throwing her on the bed and squeezing her. When the accused eventually let the victim temporarily leave the room, she went to a neighbor’s home where the police were contacted. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Matthew Adam RIVAS, was arrested.

• Child Neglect – On Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021 at 2:00AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3400 block of Jousters Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a child neglect call.

Upon arriving at the home, officers located two girls, who were 4 and 7 years of age, unattended inside their home. The investigation revealed that the father, identified as the accused, left the two girls without supervision for an extended period of time. The children were not harmed and were turned over to a family member. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Giovanni Ruben PERDOMO, was arrested.

• School Threat Investigation – On Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021 at 11:00PM, officers responded to Potomac Shores Middle School located at 17851 Woods View Dr. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a potential threat of violence.

The investigation revealed that an unknown individual sent messages via social media threatening potential violence towards the school. The messages were reported to police and School Resource Officers (SRO). That evening the SRO identified the individual that sent the messages as a 13-year-old male juvenile. Officers determined that the risk to the school was not credible. Following the investigation, the SRO charged the juvenile, and the case will be handled through juvenile court services.

Incidents
• Indecent Exposure –
On Friday, Dec. 10, 2021 at 4:45PM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the area of Dale Blvd. near Darbydale Ave. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an indecent exposure. The victim, a 70-year-old woman, reported to police that while walking in the above area, she observed an unknown man walking towards her. As the man approached the victim, he exposed himself to her and continued walking. At no time did the accused make any physical contact with the victim.
Suspect Description:
A black male, approximately 20 years old, 5’6”, between140-150lbs., with a chubby figure, and short black hair
Last seen wearing a jacket and sport-style pants

•Residential Burglary – On Friday, Dec.10, 2021 at 2:24PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12400 block of Hedges Run Dr. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. Upon arriving at the residence, a resident of the home observed a front basement window was ajar. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through the window which was found damaged. The home appeared to have been rummaged through and a firearm was reported missing, according to MPO Renee Car, public information officer.
