PWC Police Report for Monday, July 18, 2022 - Two remove food items from Woodbridge Food Lion

Master Police Officer Renee Carr, public information officer filed this report on July 18, 2022:

INCIDENTS
• Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related –
On July 16, 2022 at 9:31PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 17800 block of Oyster Bay Ct. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed the victim, a 57-year-old woman, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused kneed and struck the victim multiple times before shoving her into a wall which caused her to strike her head. Later that evening, the victim went to an area hospital where police were contacted. The victim’s injuries were determined to be non-life threatening. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as George ADJEI. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Described as a black male, approximately 5’8”, 220lbs., with black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for malicious wounding and domestic assault

• Strong-Arm Robbery – On July 16, 2022 at 9:53PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Food Lion located at 13414 Richmond Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed a male and female patron entered the store and began putting items into a cart. The suspects then pushed the cart with the unpaid items towards the exit where they were confronted by an employee. During the encounter, the female suspect struck the employee before both suspects took the unpaid items out of the store. The employee reported minor injuries. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspects who were not located.
Suspect Description:
A black female, approximately 5’5”, 140lbs., with short blond hair
Last seen wearing a black head band, a camouflage t-shirt, and blue jeans
A black male last seen wearing a grey/blue Champion shirt and blue jeans

ARRESTS
• Attempted Armed Robbery | Abduction –
On July 15, 2022 at 10:00PM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 15200 block of Coachman Ter. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed the victim, a 46-year-old woman, was in her room when a family member, identified as the accused, came into the room, and attempted to take her phone. When the victim refused, the accused pulled out a knife and threatened her. Another family member intervened, and the accused eventually fled the residence. No injuries were reported. While investigating the incident, officers located suspected illegal narcotics inside the accused’s room. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as a 13-year-old male juvenile, was arrested.

• Strong-Arm Robbery | Abduction – On July 15, 2022 at 12:30PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Red Roof Inn located at 17113 Dumfries Rd. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a stolen vehicle. The investigation revealed the victim, a 25-year-old woman and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation inside a room.
During the encounter, the accused grabbed and scratched the victim before physically preventing her from leaving the room. Eventually, the victim was able to leave the room and got into a vehicle parked nearby. The accused followed the victim before getting inside the van where he then took her wallet before both parties went into the hotel lobby. While inside the lobby, the victim and the accused struggled over the vehicle keys before the accused took the keys and the victim’s wallet and fled in the vehicle. The victim reported minor injuries. While investigating the incident, officers determined the accused used the victim’s credit card without her permission at a nearby business. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the accused, identified as Brenon Eugene NELSON. The accused was located later that evening and taken into custody without incident.

• Stalking – On July 16, 2022 at 6:00PM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to the 12300 block of Valley View Dr. in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a suspicious person. Upon arriving in the area, officers made contact with a man matching the description provided to police who was later determined to be the accused. The investigation revealed the accused and the victim, identified as a 16-year-old female juvenile, had previously met on a social media app, and were no longer communicating. The accused traveled to the area and was following the victim for the last two days in an attempt to meet her in person. While investigating the incident, the accused was informed not to have any further contact with the victim and the parties separated. Prior to police leaving the area, the victim reported the accused attempted to contact her via a social media app after being informed not to have further contact. Following the investigation, officers obtained an arrest warrant for the accused, identified as Sean Michael MAHAR. Later that evening, the accused was located in the Manassas area and taken into custody without incident.

• Indecent Exposure – On July 17, 2022 at 3:22AM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to the Woodspring Suites located at 14141 Daves Store Ln. in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a suspicious person. The investigation revealed the victim, a 46-year-old woman, was outside of the hotel when she was approached by an unknown man, later identified as the accused. During the encounter, the accused exposed himself to the victim before running away. During the investigation, officers identified the accused and located him in a hotel room where he was detained. At no time was there any physical contact between the victim and the accused. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Marlon Bradford SUMMERVILLE, was arrested.
