PWC Police looking for suspect in two Woodbridge burglaries

**UPDATES**

Armed Robberies *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – On July 15, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified the suspect involved in two commercial robberies in the Woodbridge area of the county. The suspect, identified as Joseph Tyler KELLEY of Woodbridge, has been connected to the July 11 robbery of the Papa Johns pizza on Dale Blvd and the June 8 robbery of the Exxon service station on Quate Ln. In both cases, an undisclosed amount of money was taken. Detectives have since obtained arrest warrants for this suspect who has not been located.
Wanted:
Joseph Tyler KELLEY, 20, of the 4700 block of Kenny Ct in Woodbridge
Described as a white male, 6’0”, 140lbs with a thin build, brown hair, and brown eyes
Wanted for 2 counts of robbery

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On July 11 at 11:00PM, officers responded to the Papa Johns located at 4814 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the store displaying a knife and demanding money. The man took an undisclosed amount of money then fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects who were not located. The investigation continues.

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On June 8 at 7:40PM, officers responded to the Exxon service station located at 13549 Quate Ln in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the store then brandished a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On July 17 at 10:00PM, officers responded to the 13600 block of Marys Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 22 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he made arrangements to meet several friends in the above area to smoke marijuana. While walking, the victim was approached by four unknown black men. One of the men brandished a handgun and took the victim’s cell phone and wallet before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located.

Armed Robbery – On July 17 at 9:53PM, officers responded to the area of Tackhouse Ct and Tackhouse Lp in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a robbery. The victim, an 18 year old man of Bristow, reported to police that he made arrangements to conduct a narcotics transaction with four known acquaintances in the above area. During the encounter, one of the men pulled out a knife and demanded money and the narcotics. The victim was assaulted by the suspects before they dispersed on foot. Minor injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

Armed Robbery – On July 15 at 11:15PM, officers responded to the 7900 block of Community Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 23 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he was talking on his phone in a parking lot in the above area when he was approached by 2 unknown men. During the encounter, both men brandished handguns and demanded money. One of the suspects struck the victim multiple times in the head with a firearm. The men took the victim’s cell phone, wallet, and money before fleeing on foot. Minor injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects who were not located.

Black male, unknown age, 5’8” with a thin build, dark complexion, and short black hair
Last seen wearing all black

Residential Burglary | Brandishing – On July 16 at 10:38AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13000 block of Gorham Way in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary in progress. A resident of the home reported to police that she was inside the home when she was confronted by two unknown men on an upper level of the residence. The suspects told the resident that another resident let them in. As she was escorting the men downstairs, she observed one of the men was in possession of her wallet. When the victim asked for her wallet back, the men fled on foot. While running, one of the men brandished a handgun and pointed it towards the resident. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects who were not located.

Residential Burglary – On July 18 at 12:23AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8900 block of Rugby Rd in Manassas (20111) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3:00PM on July 17 and 12:00AM on July 18. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through the front door which was found damaged. Jewelry and other miscellaneous items were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On July 17 at 4:22AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 18400 block of Beech Ln in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2:00PM on July 16 and 4:00AM on July 17. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through a basement door which was found damaged. A MacBook, iPads, desktop computer, and printer were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On July 17 at 1:00AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4900 block of Dane Ridge Cir in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 1:52PM on July 16 and 12:32AM on July 17. The investigation revealed that entry was made into an attached garage of the residence. There were no signs of forced entry into the garage and no entry was made into the main residence. No property was reported missing.
