PWC Police Department’s Crime Report for Aug. 19, 2022 - Girl, 10, sexually assaulted

INCIDENTS
• Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On August 18, 2022 at 8:33PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 4500 block of Hendricks Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault.
The investigation revealed the victim, a 24-year-old man, and a family member, identified as the accused were outside of the residence when a verbal altercation escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a tire iron from a nearby vehicle and struck the victim.
Eventually, the two parties separated, and the accused fled prior to police arriving at the residence. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Marleny Edith SALAMANCA. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
Wanted:
Marleny Edith SALAMANCA, 45, of the 5600 block of Newtone Ct. in Woodbridge
Described as a white female, approximately 4’11” and 145lbs.
Wanted for malicious wounding

ARRESTS
• Sexual Assault Investigation – On August 16, 2022 at 3:15AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 9000 block of Falcon Glen Ct. in Bristow (20136) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed the victim, a 10-year-old girl, was alone in a bedroom when an acquaintance, identified as the accused, entered the bedroom, and sexually assaulted the victim.
Eventually, the accused left the bedroom, and the victim immediately notified a family member who contacted the police. The accused left the home prior to police arriving at the residence. The accused was later located by police in the Woodbridge area where he was taken into custody without incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Myles Ervin OVERTON IV, was arrested.

Charged with aggravated sexual battery

• Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On August 18, 2022 at 5:30PM, the accused was in police custody at the Eastern District Police Station located at 15948 Donald Curtis Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) when she refused to follow the officer’s commands. As officers were escorting the accused for transport to another facility, the accused spat on an officer. The accused was re-secured without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jessica Lynn SUTHPIN, was arrested.
