PWC Police connect fifth suspect to homicide of Woodbridge High teen

Murder Investigation *ARRESTS – On November 14th, the remaining juvenile suspect sought in connection to the November 10th murder of Brenden Wilson turned himself into police without incident, according to Officer Jonathan Perok, spokesman for the Prince William County Police Department.

Detectives from the Homicide Unit have further connected a 5th suspect, identified as a 16 year old juvenile female, to this incident, Perok said.

All arrested suspects were determined to have been present during the shooting of Wilson and knowingly set up the incident as a robbery under the guise of a drug transaction. During the encounter, the victim was fatally shot and killed.

Murder Investigation [Previously Released] – On November 10th at 4:28PM, officers responded to the 12500 block of Oakwood Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a reported shooting. Officers arrived in the area and located the victim on a pathway between the Woodbridge Senior High School and adjoining neighborhood. The victim, identified as a 16 year old male juvenile who attends Woodbridge Senior High School, sustained gunshot related injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. On November 11th, detectives from the Homicide Unit identified four suspects in connection to this case. The investigation revealed that the shooting was drug related and that all parties were known to one another. Police have located and arrested three of the suspects in this case. The fourth, identified as a juvenile, is still being actively sought. On November 13th, detectives obtained a court order authorizing the Prince William County Police Department to publicly release the below information on the remaining juvenile suspect sought in connection to the November 10th murder of Brenden Wilson. The investigation continues.
