PWC Police charge 13-year-old with attempted robbery in Woodbridge school bathroom


Attempted Strong Armed Robbery – On December 5 at 12:20PM, a Prince William County School Resource Officer responded to Beville Middle School located at 4901 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) to begin an investigation into a robbery which occurred on school property the day prior, on December 4, at approximately 1:35PM.

The investigation revealed the victim, a 13-year-old male student, was approached by another male student while in the bathroom. During the encounter, the other student demanded the victim empty his pockets. When the victim refused, the other student forcefully attempted to take the victim’s cell phone.

The parties separated when another student entered the bathroom. The victim reported the incident to school staff on December 5. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the other student, identified as a 13-year-old male, was arrested.
