Malicious Wounding / Domestic Related

Arthur Thomas Foss, 26, of 13358 Colchester Ferry Pl in Woodbridge was charged with malicious wounding in connection with a July 4 incident at approximately 11:36 p.m. According to reports, police responded to the 13600 block of Alexis Ct in Woodbridge (22191) for a domestic. The victim, a 28-year-old man, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly cut the victim with a knife. The accused fled prior to police arrival. The victim was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. Warrants were obtained and the accused turned himself in on July 7. Court date and bond information were unavailable.

OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS
Burglary

On July 6th at 3:18PM, police responded to the 15500 block of Catamaran Ct in Dumfries (22025) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:45 a.m. and 3:10 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a basement window which had been forced opened. Electronics valued around $1,000 were reported missing.

Attempted Burglary
On July 7 at 1:51 p.m., police responded to the 1700 block of Shady River Ct in Woodbridge (22192) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that he was asleep when he heard a tapping noise coming from the balcony. Upon investigating the noise, the homeowner discovered an unknown man on his balcony. Once seen by the homeowner, the man jumped over the railing and fled the area. No entry was gained into the residence and no items were reported missing.

Vandalism to Vehicles
On July 8th at 1:22 a.m., police responded to the areas of Pony Ridge Turn, Butterfly Way and Gentle Wood Ln in Dumfries (22026) for a report of several vandalized vehicles. Police arrived and discovered approximately 15 vehicles and four residences which had been spray painted. No suspects were located and no vehicles or residences were entered.
