PW Police Department to hold 40th anniversary memorial observance Oct. 27 of officer’s death

On Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, the Prince William County Police Department will honor the life and service of Officer Paul T. “Pete” White in solemn observance of the 40th anniversary of his line-of-duty death.

The event will be held at the Western Prince William County police station, at the intersection of University Blvd. and Wellington Rd., which was named in White’s honor.

He was the first member of the Prince William County Police Department to be killed in the line of duty.
