INCIDENTS
• Shooting Investigation –
On December 26, 2023 at 5:07PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to The Landings at Markhams Grant Apartments located in the 15700 block of Tassia Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed a 22-year-old man was shot inside a vehicle while in the parking lot of the complex. Officers arrived and provided first-aid to the man who was treated at an area hospital with serious injuries. The investigation continues.

• Shooting Investigation | Hit & Run – On December 24, 2023 at 12:38AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 13600 blockof Kingsman Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed the victim, a 22- year-old man, exited his home after hearing his car alarm sound and observed the window to his vehicle smashed. The victim then confronted a possible suspect walking down Kingsman Rd who turned and shot towards the victim.
The victim then returned to his vehicle and attempted to locate the suspect before his vehicle was struck from the opposite direction by the driver of another vehicle, later determined to be the same suspect. The suspect then exited the vehicle and shot towards the victim’s vehicle multiple times before fleeing the area. Officers located the suspect vehicle unoccupied nearby and determined it was previously reported stolen on December 15. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not
located. No injuries were reported. The suspect was only described as a black or Hispanic male with a heavy build wearing dark-colored clothing.

• Armed Robbery – On December 26 at 3:15AM, officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 16170 Country Club Dr in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed a man and woman walked behind the counter and pushed an employee to the ground before taking an unknown quantity of lottery
tickets and fleeing. The employee reportedly observed a firearm during the incident. Minor injuries were eported, and no shots were fired. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspects who were not located.
The suspects were only described as a tall black male with a thin build and a short black female with a heavy build, both wearing dark-colored clothing.

Strong-Arm Robbery – On December 24 at 11:42AM, officers responded to the area of Somerset Crossing Dr and McGraws Corner Dr in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 73-year-old woman,reported to police a coat was taken by an unknown man only described as a black male with a heavy build wearing dark blue clothing. No injuries were reported. An exact area of the encounter could not be identified.

• Strong-Arm Robbery – On December 22 at 5:00PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 16800 block of Richmond Hwy in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 55-year-old man, reported to police he was approached and assaulted by a group of unknown individuals. During the encounter, the victim’s phone and wallet were taken before the group dispersed. The victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspects who were not located. The suspects were only described as four black males and one black female, all reportedly between 18-20 years of age.
Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On December 27 at 5:35AM, officers responded to the 2000 block of Mayflower Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed multiple 8gunshots were heard in the above area. Officers located several shell casings in the roadway near the intersection with Clipper Dr. During a check of the area, officers located a vehicle that had been struck. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.

• Commercial Burglary – On December 26 at 8:41AM, officers responded to the Stone Pointe Apartments leasing office located at 15001 Potomac Heights Pl in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that sometime between December 23 and December 26, entry was made into the office. There
were no signs of forced entry. A computer and other items were reported missing.

Commercial Burglary – On December 26 at 8:16AM, officers responded to the Estancias Restaurant located at 7533 Presidential Ln in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed shortly at 8:00AM on December 25, an individual forcibly entered the business by smashing the glass door with a tire
iron. The suspect took a cash register with an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the establishment.

ARRESTS
Strangulation | Domestic Related –
On December 24 at 11:08PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Regency Apartments located in the 9800 block of Shallow Creek Lp in Manassas(20109) to investigate a domestic dispute.
The investigation revealed the victim, a 42-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck and pushed the victim before choking her. The altercation continued before the parties dispersed and police were contacted. The accused left the home and took the victim’s firearm prior to officers arriving on scene. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Brandon Devon LESTER, who turned himself in to police on December 26.

Malicious Wounding | Strong-Armed Robbery – On December 24 at 1:10PM, officers responded to the 13900 block of Promenade Commons St in Gainesville (20155) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed the accused and the victim, a 17-year-old male juvenile, were conducting a transaction over a jacket in the above area when an argument ensued. During the encounter, the accused forcibly grabbed the jacket from the victim and began to walk away. The victim confronted the accused which escalated into a physical struggle where the accused struck the victim in the face. The parties separated and remained on scene for police. The victim was treated for an injury to his eye. No other injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Robert Cole THOMPSON, was arrested.

ª Armed Robbery – On December 26 at 5:07PM, officers responded to Sally Beauty locatedat 11712 Sudley Manor Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed an unknown man, later identified as the accused, approached, and pointed an object through his jacket at an employee while demanding money. The accused took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing. No injuries were reported. Responding officers detained the accused nearby without further incident. Money was found in the possession of the accused. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Andy Rolando SEVILLA MARTINEZ, was arrested.

• Felony Child Neglect – On December 23 at 11:36AM, officers responded to the Linden Park Apartments located in the 3600 block of Jurgensen Dr in Triangle (22172) to investigate a child neglect. When officers arrived at the home to serve unrelated paperwork on a resident of the apartment, three children, a 9-month-old, 4-year-old, and 8-year-old unsupervised. Officers made phone contact with the children’s mother, identified as the accused, who returned to the residence. The children did not appear to be injured and were assessed by fire & rescue personnel. The children were released to the custody of known parties. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Veronica Adelina MARTINEZ PAZ, was arrested.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On December 26 at 3:20PM, officers detained the accused in the 16100 block of Country Club Dr in Dumfries (22025) for suspected driving under the influence when she became disorderly. During the encounter, the accused kicked one of the officers. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, an additional charge was obtained against the accused, identified as Brenda Dianne GLOVER.

Assault & Battery on a Corrections Officer – On December 25 at 11:55PM, officers were processing the accused at the Prince William Adult Detention Center (ADC) located at 9320 Lee Ave in Manassas (20110) for a previous arrest for assault when she became disorderly. During the encounter, the accused kicked an ADC staff member. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, an additional charge was obtained against
the accused, identified as Seana Ivana THACKER.
