Incidents and arrests released on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016

**INCIDENTS**

Strong Armed Robbery – On February 1 at 2:12PM, officers responded to John Jenkins Park located at 13499 Hillendale Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 13 year old male juvenile of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when he was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the suspect struck the victim in the face causing him to fall down. The suspect then took a wireless speaker from the victim before fleeing the area on foot. Minor injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.

Suspect Descriptions:
Black male, between 17 & 18 years of age, 5’11”, 140lbs with a thin build
Last seen wearing all black clothing

**ARRESTS**

Malicious Wounding – On February 1 at 12:32AM, officers responded to the 14700 block of Potomac Mills Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a stabbing. The victim, a 48 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused stabbed the victim in the upper body. The parties were eventually separated and police were contacted. The accused was located and detained without incident by responded officers. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charged with malicious wounding
Court Date: March 9, 2016 | Status: Held WITHOUT Bond
