**UPDATES**

Armed Robbery *ARREST – On July 30th, members of the U.S. Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force located and arrested one of the suspects previously identified as being involved in the robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 14400 block of Westminster Ln in Woodbridge on April 15th. Detectives are still working to identify the remaining suspect involved in the robbery.
Arrested on July 30th:
Bryan Deshawn PETTEWAY, 20, of the 14300 block of Westminister Way in Woodbridge
Charged with robbery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony
Court date: September 23, 2015 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On April 15th at 11:02PM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 14400 block of Westminster Ln in Woodbridge (22193). The victim, a 52 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was delivering a pizza to an address in the above area when he was approached by two unknown men. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The suspects took money and the pizzas from the victim before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects. On July 15th, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified one of the suspects involved in this robbery. The suspect, identified as the accused, Bryan PETTEWAY, is believed to have been the armed suspect in the incident. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for his arrest. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
Suspect Descriptions:
Both suspects were described as black males, between 18 & 25 years of age, 5’6”-5’8” with a medium build, dark complexions and black hair
1st suspect was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans

2nd suspect was last seen wearing a red jacket and blue jeans [armed suspect]

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery | Carjacking – On July 23rd at 12:56PM, officers responded to the 3600 block of Quantico Terrace Dr in Triangle (22172) to investigate a carjacking. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 33 year old woman of Woodbridge, was contacted by the accused, a known acquaintance, who requested a ride. The victim drove the accused to the 3600 block of Quantico Terrace Dr. Once there, the accused exited the vehicle and walked a short distance from the vehicle. When he returned, the accused displayed a handgun at the victim demanding her cell phone and to exit the vehicle. The accused took the victim’s vehicle and fled the area. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused. Attempts to locate this suspect have been unsuccessful.

Thurman Terrill WEATHERS, 33, of the 4200 block of El Dorado Dr of Woodbridge
Described as a black male, 5’9”, 190lbs with a medium build, black hair, brown eyes and a goatee
Wanted for 1 count of carjacking, 1 count of robbery, 1 count of grand larceny, 2 counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony and 1 count possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Armed Robbery – On July 30th at 9:29PM, officers responded to the 8400 block of Granite Ln in Manassas (20111) to investigate a robbery. The victim, an 18 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he was riding a bicycle in the area of Blooms Quarry Ln near Leighlex Ct at approximately 9:05PM when he was approached by an unknown man. The man demanded the victim’s bicycle and phone, implying that he had a knife which was not observed. The suspect took the bicycle and fled the area. Attempts to locate the suspect were unsuccessful. No injuries were reported.
Suspect Information:
Described as a Hispanic male, between 20 & 30 years of age, 5’5’’, 190lbs with a medium build, short black hair and brown eyes
Last seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt and long black pants

Residential Burglary – On July 21st at 10:25AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13600 block of Frisco Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:00PM on July 26th and 5:00PM on July 29th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made into the residence through an enclosed porch door which had been left unsecured. A mountain bicycle was reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Strangulation | Domestic Assault and Battery- On July 29th at 11:30PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12200 block of Densmore Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic dispute. The victim, a 25 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal argument which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted and, at one point, choked the victim. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without further incident.

Michael Louis HOLDEN, 27, of 4036 Ranch Rd in Upper Marlboro, MD
Charged with strangulation and domestic assault & battery
Court Date: pending | Bond: held WITHOUT bond
