**INCIDENTS**

Malicious Wounding – On December 13 at 3:40PM, officers responded to the area of Gemstone Dr and Woodside Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault.  The victim, a 46 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that the accused, an acquaintance, struck him in the head with a rock causing him to lose consciousness in an unprovoked incident. After the assault, the accused fled the area. The victim responded to a local hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries where police were contacted. Following the investigation, officers obtain a warrant for the arrest of the accused on January 13. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Described as a white male, 5’5”, 175lbs with a heavy build, with black hair and brown eyes

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On January 13 at 9:37PM, officers responded to an apartment building located in the 14300 block of Wrangler Ln in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shots fired call. A resident reported to police that he heard two unknown suspects involved in a verbal altercation in a stairwell when shots were fired by an unknown person. The shooter was not seen. Officers checked the area and located several shell casings in the stairwell. No injuries were reported.

Residential Burglary – On January 13 at 7:59PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12200 block of Harbor Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM on January 7 and 5:00PM on January 13. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through a front door which was found damaged. Money was reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On January 13 at 11:23AM, officers responded to a residence located on the 14800 block of Anderson Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic. Once at the residence, officers made contact with two subjects who were involved in a verbal altercation. During the encounter, the officers determined the accused was wanted for unrelated charges. When the officers attempted to arrest the accused, she resisted and struck one of the officers in the face. The accused was quickly detained without further incident. Minor injuries were reported to the officer. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charged with assault & battery on a LEO, identity theft, and obstruction of justice
Court date: February 22, 2016 | Bond: Held WITHOUT bond
