**INCIDENTS**

Attempted Armed Robbery – On August 15th at 1:22AM, officers responded to the Dumfries Shopping Plz located at 18035 Dumfries Shopping Plz in Dumfries (22026) to investigate an attempted robbery. The victim, a 22 year old man of Falls Church, reported to police that he made arrangements to meet a known acquaintance in the above area of purchase an iPhone. While the two men were sitting in the vehicle conducting the transaction, an unknown man approached the driver’s side window. During the encounter, the man implied he had a weapon and demanded money. The victim was able to drive away before any further contact was made. No property was taken and no injuries were reported.
Suspect Description:
Black male, unknown age, 6’0”, 200lbs with a medium build
No clothing description reported, suspect had his face covered

Residential Burglary – On August 16th at 10:28PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 18100 block of Kilmer Ln in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary. The resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred earlier that evening around 9:30PM. The investigation revealed that an unknown man forced entry into the residence and assaulted the resident. Entry is believed to have been made into the residence through an unsecured door. No property was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On August 15th at 10:40AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4500 block of Glendale Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00PM on August 13th and 10:00AM on August 15th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through the front door which was found damaged. No property was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On August 14th at 3:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 6000 block of Omega Ln in Manassas (20112) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2:00PM on August 13th and 1:45PM on August 14th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a basement level window which was found damaged. No property was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On August 14th at 1:30PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13100 block of Vineyard Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between December 19th and 6:00AM on August 14th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Multiple firearms were reported missing.

Commercial Burglary – On August 14th at 10:39AM, officers responded to the Lake Ridge Association Community Pool House located at 12498 McIntire Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The maintenance crews reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00PM on August 13th and 10:20AM on August 14th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the pool house through a rear door which was found damaged. No property was reported missing.

Attempted Commercial Burglary – On August 14th at 6:25PM, officers responded to the Woodbridge Dentist Office located at 13885 Hedgewood Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an attempted burglary. The business owner reported to police that sometime between 7:00PM on August 13th and 10:00AM on August 14th, entry was attempted into the business through the front door which was found damaged. No entry was made into the building and no property was reported missing.

**ARRESTS**
Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO]
– On August 15th at 2:15AM, a Prince William County police officer was completing paperwork at the Adult Detention Center located at 9311 Lee Ave in Manassas (20110) when the accused fell out of a chair and onto the ground. The accused was intoxicated and as the officer attempted to help him, the accused kicked the officer’s leg. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was charged.

Charged with assault & battery on a LEO
