Firearm shown during spat over parking spot at Minnieville Rd. 7-Eleven, police report

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On August 10th at 12:18AM, officers responded to the 3600 block of Jurgensen Dr in Triangle (22172) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 48 year old man of Triangle, reported to police that he was approached by two unknown males who brandished a firearm then demanded money from the victim.  During the encounter, the victim was struck in the body several times then relieved of a wallet, cell phone, and keys.  The suspects then fled in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.
Suspect Descriptions:
Two black males, approximately 25-30 years of age.  No further description provided.

Brandishing of a Firearm – On August 9th at 6:22PM, officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 14410 Minnieville Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a brandishing. The victim, a 28 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was involved in a verbal altercation with an unknown male over a parking spot at the above address.  At one point, the suspect displayed a firearm then pointed it at the victim. The victim immediately left the scene only to be followed by the suspect who was riding an unknown type motorcycle.  When the victim stopped for a red light, the suspect approached the victim’s vehicle then kicked it several times.  Minor property damage was reported. The suspect then left the area before officers arrived on scene.
Suspect Description:
White male, approximately 25-30 years of age, 5’9’’, 230lbs, with brown hair, last seen wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans, and black boots.

Residential Burglary – On August 9th at 10:22PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4500 block of Knoll Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3:30AM on July 31st and 8:00PM on August 9th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear window which was found shattered.  Cash, ammunition, a computer, gaming console, and clothing items were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – August 9th at 10:40AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 6800 block of General Longstreet Line in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3:00AM and 6:30AM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the garage by using a garage door opener taken from a vehicle parked in the driveway.  A GPS device, limb trimmer, leaf blower and two chainsaws were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – August 9th at 2:41AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14300 block of Newbern Lp in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM and 11:00PM on August 8th. There were no signs of forced entry.  The homeowner reported some food items missing.

Commercial Burglary – On August 8th at 9:18AM, officers responded to Bobbies Burger Palace located at 2712 Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. A business employee reported to police that the burglary occurred at 7:25AM. Video surveillance revealed that an unknown male entered through the front door then proceeded to the cash registers where he took cash.  The suspect then exited through a rear side door. The front door was found to be damaged.
Suspect Description:
A black male, approximately 5’11’’, 200lbs, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, gloves, and black shoes.

Commercial Burglary – On August 6th at 9:21AM, officers responded to the Lake Ridge Association Pool House located at 12498 McIntire Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The facility manager reported to police that the burglary occurred between 1:50AM and 1:10AM. Video surveillance revealed that three unknown male juveniles forced entry into the rear of the building. The suspects vandalized the interior of the building before leaving. A TV and camera were reported missing.
Suspect Descriptions:
Three black males, approximately 14-17 years of age, 5’7’’, 150-175 lbs. No further suspect information provided.

**ARRESTS**
Malicious Wounding
– On August 5th at 11:35PM, officers responded the 15100 block of Farm Creek Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a fight in progress. The victim, a 42 year old man of Dumfries, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated.  During the encounter, the accused cut the victim on the arm with a knife. The accused left the scene prior to officers arriving. The victim was treated on scene for his injury.  A short time later, the accused was located and detained without incident.  Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
