**INCIDENTS**

Residential Burglary – On August 29th at 8:19AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15500 block of Lebourget Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3:30PM on August 28th and 8:19AM on August 29th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through the front door which was found damaged.  No property was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On August 30th at 9:23PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10200 block of Moss Tower Pl in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00PM on August 26th and 7:00AM on August 30th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through an unsecured garage door.  Several containers of beer were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On August 30th at 1:20AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10600 block of Blendia Ln in Manassas (20110) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that while she was outside on a rear porch at 1:00AM, she observed movement inside a rear bedroom window.  The victim returned inside and found that her purse and phone were missing. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through a rear window which was found damaged. No suspect information was obtained.

**ARRESTS**

Abduction | Sexual Assault – On August 30th at 5:00PM, officers responded to the 2200 block of Cherry Hill Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a domestic.  The caller reported to police that the victim, a 42 year old woman of Fredericksburg, and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal argument which escalated. The caller reported last seeing the victim being chased by the accused the into an adjacent construction site. When officers located the victim, they observed the accused holding the victim against her will and assaulting her.  As officers approached, the accused released the victim then attempted to flee.  A short time later, a responding officer located the accused and detained him without incident. There were no injuries reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charged with abduction, sexual battery, and obstruction of justice

Attempted Malicious Wounding | Hit and Run | Assault and Battery – On August 30th at 2:15AM, officers responded to the Sabor Latino Restaurant located at 2910 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a fight. The investigation revealed that the victims, a 33 year old woman of Stafford and a 25 year old woman of Woodbridge, were involved in a verbal altercation with the accused which escalated.  As the victims attempted to walk to their vehicle, the accused punched both victims in the chest. After the victims got into their vehicle, the accused retrieved a bat and began striking the vehicle.  The accused then got into his vehicle and drove it into the victim’s parked car. Once the police were contacted, the accused left the area prior to officers arriving. The accused was located a short time later and detained without incident. No injuries were reported.  Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Julio GOMEZ PEREZ, 24, of 8 Hemlock Ct in Fredericksburg
Charged with 1 count of attempted malicious wounding, 1 count of hit and run, and 2 counts of assault and battery

Reckless Handling of a Firearm– On August 29th at 11:38PM, officers responded to the Holiday Inn located at 14030 Telegraph Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shots fired call. An occupant of a room on the first floor reported to police that he was asleep when he woke to a load noise directly above his room. Upon checking the room, the occupant discovered a bullet on the floor and damage to the ceiling directly above. Further investigation revealed that the accused who was intoxicated was attempting to clear his handgun when it discharged one round into the floor of his second floor room.  No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.

Joel Howard NISSEN, 54, of 7617 Filippo Rd in Fredericksburg
Charged with reckless handing of a firearm

Burglary | Grand Larceny | Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On August 29th at 4:00PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 16600 block of Harwood Oaks Ct in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. A resident reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3:30PM on August 28th and 1:00PM on August 29th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the apartment.  Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured, rear patio door. Cash, jewelry, several cell phones, and miscellaneous items were reported missing. No suspect information was obtained at the time. On August 30th at 12:59PM, officers responded to the Walmart located at 17041 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries (22026) for a shoplifter. Officers arrived and made contact with the accused. While attempting to take the accused in custody, the accused punched an officer in the face. The accused was eventually detained and transported to an area hospital for minor injuries. Minor injuries were reported to the officer. During the investigation, the accused was determined to be involved in the above mentioned burglary. Once released from the hospital, the accused was subsequently arrested.

Mario WILLIAMS II, 28, of 1543 Autumn Ln in Dumfries
Charged with 1 count of burglary, 2 counts of grand larceny, 1 count of assault & battery on a LEO, 1 count of obstruction of justice, and 1 count of providing false ID to avoid prosecution
Court date: October 21, 2015 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond

Impersonating a Police Officer – On August 30th at 12:30AM, officers responded to investigate a suspicious vehicle which was reported in the area of Sudley Manor Dr and Bethlehem Rd in Manassas (20109). The caller, an off-duty Prince William County police officer, reported to police that he was driving on Sudley Manor Dr when he observed a blue Pontiac G6 following him. While the vehicle was behind the caller, the driver turned on blue flashing lights which were mounted on the interior of the vehicle. The caller believing the other vehicle to be suspicious did not stop and called police. At that point, the vehicle turned off the blue lights and speed away.  The caller was able to provide responding units with a tag number and followed the vehicle to the above area where the vehicle was stopped by responding officers. Following the investigation, the driver of the vehicle was arrested without incident. Photographs of the vehicle are attached to this release.

Charged with impersonating a police officer
