**ARRESTS**

Malicious Wounding | Assault & Battery – On April 12th at 9:03PM, officers responded to investigate a stabbing which was reported to have occurred at an apartment located in the 1900 block of Briar Rose Ln in Woodbridge (22193). The investigation revealed that both parties listed below were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, one of the parties, identified as Lamar GRADY, pushed the other party, identified as Cheri THACKER. At that point, THACKER retrieved a knife and stabbed GRADY in the neck. Both suspects are known to one to one another. Only non-life threatening injuries were sustained. Following the investigation, both parties were arrested.

Charged with malicious wounding

Charged with assault & battery

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On April 14th at 5:08PM, officers responded to the area of Rixlew Ln and Ashton Ave in Manassas (20109) to investigate a crash. Officers arrived and identified both parties involved. During the investigation, one of the parties, identified as the accused, refused to cooperate with officers and exit her vehicle so it could be towed out of traffic. Eventually the accused exited the vehicle and was cited for following too closely resulting in the crash. At one point, the accused attempted to get back and her vehicle and, in the process of doing so, forcibly opened the door and struck an officer. The accused then attempted to flee on foot but was quickly detained. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without further incident.

Charged with assault & battery on a LEO, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct

**INCIDENTS**

Malicious Wounding | Armed Robbery – On April 14th at 4:25PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14600 block of Brook Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed that two suspects came to the victim’s residence in the above area to purchase marijuana. During the encounter, one of the suspects displayed a knife and cut the victim, a 19 year old man, in the hand before taking marijuana and a handgun belonging to the victim. The suspects fled the area prior to police arriving at the home. The victim sustained a non-life threatening injury and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. A search warrant was obtained and subsequently executed at the victim’s home regarding the narcotics. The investigation continues. This was not a random incident.
Suspect Descriptions:
Both suspects were described as black males, between 15 & 17 years of age, 5’10”, 150lbs with thin builds
The suspects were last seen wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirts and jeans

Strong Armed Robbery – On April 15th at 1:37AM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 15100 block of Arum Pl in Woodbridge (22191) on April 14th around 11:15PM. The victim, a 22 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he had received a ride from a known female acquaintance who drove him to the area above. Once stopped in that area, another known woman approached the vehicle and began assaulting him. The victim was eventually able to get out of the vehicle, at which point, four other men approached and joined in the altercation. During the encounter, the victim’s wallet was taken. After the assault, the victim returned to his residence and contacted police. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues. This was not a random incident.

Residential Burglary – On April 14th at 10:53PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3300 block of Canton Ct in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:30PM and 10:30PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through a basement window which was found shattered.  Two firearms were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On April 14th at 7:56PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16700 block of Periscope Pl in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30AM and 6:00PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home.  Jewelry and money were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On April 13th at 2:05, officers responded to a residence located in the 4900 block of Lambsgate Ln in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:00AM and 11:00AM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a basement window which was previously broken in a prior burglary attempt on April 11th.  No property was reported missing in this latest incident. The attempted burglary on the 11th occurred sometime between 3:00PM and 8:00PM. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing.
