Incidents and arrests released by Prince William County VA Police Department on Tuesday, April 14, 2015

**INCIDENTS**

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On April 13th at 9:13PM, officers responded to the 7900 block of Community Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shots fired call. Multiple callers reported to police that a large fight broke out in the above area. During the altercation, someone in the group fired several gunshots into the air. When officers arrived in the neighborhood, the group had already dispersed. Officers did located shell casings on M Ct off of Community Dr. No injuries or property damage were reported.

Residential Burglary – On April 13th at 5:33PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13300 block of Kelsey Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary.  The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30AM and 5:20PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through a rear basement window which was found shattered.  Two firearms, two cameras and a Samsung tablet were reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Child Pornography Investigation – On February 9th, detectives from the Special Victims Unit began a child pornography investigation after a cybertip was received through the Nation Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Through the investigation, detectives were able to connect the user of an online account to a residence in the 14300 block of Bremerton Dr in Woodbridge (22193). This online account was found to contain over 200 images of unidentified victims including infants and toddlers engaged in inappropriate sexual activities. As part of the investigation, a search warrant was obtained and subsequently executed at that home. A forensic examination of a laptop belonging to the accused was analyzed and resulted in the discovery of over 250 videos and over 200 images of child pornography. Following the investigation, detectives obtained multiple warrants for the arrest of the accused. The accused was located and arrested without incident at a family member’s residence on Longwood Manor Ct in Woodbridge on April 10th.

Charged with 1 count of child pornography and 9 counts of child pornography 2nd subsequent offense
