Police report incidents over the Thanksgiving holidays

Abduction | Brandishing a Firearm | Domestic Related –
On November 29 at 6:12AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2200 block of Fort Pickens Ct in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 30-year-old woman, reported to police that she was asleep when she woke to an acquaintance, identified as the accused, holding her down. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim before brandishing a firearm towards her. When the victim attempted to call police, the accused knocked the phone from her hand. The accused eventually left the home and the victim called police. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Lamar Vashon BALL. Attempts to locate the accused were unsuccessful.

Described as a black male, 6’2”, 210lbs with long black dreadlocks and brown eyes
Wanted for 1 count of abduction, 1 count of domestic assault & battery, 1 count of brandishing a firearm, 1 count of preventing the summoning of police, and 2 counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Armed Robbery – On December 1 at 10:23PM, officers responded to the Pizza Hut located at 17982 Main St in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. Store employees reported to police that an unknown masked man entered the business and approached the counter. During the encounter, the man implied he was armed and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 searched for the suspect who was not located.

Black male, 5’6” – no further description
Last seen wearing a mask, black sweatshirt, and black pants

Armed Robbery – On November 30 at 8:45PM, officers responded to the 10800 block of Violet Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 34-year-old man, reported to police that he was walking to his vehicle in the above area when he approached by an unknown man driving a sedan. During the encounter, the man brandished a firearm towards the victim and demanded his property. The suspect fled after taking the victim’s wallet and phone. No injuries were reported.

Black male, between 20 & 25 years of age, with short hair
Last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt

Malicious Wounding – On November 27 at 9:23PM, officers responded to the area of Sudley Rd and Lomond Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a fight. A witness reported to police that a man was being assaulted by several other individuals in the above area. When officers arrived, they located the victim, a 34-year-old man, who became uncooperative with police. The victim sustained a severe laceration and was transported to an area hospital. No suspects were located, and no descriptions were provided by the victim.

Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling – On November 11 at 7:20AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12200 block of Redwood Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a destruction of property call. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 10:00PM on November 10 and 6:00AM on November 11, their residence was struck by a bullet. The round entered the bedroom and landed in an attached bathroom. No injuries were reported. Shell casings were located near the community pool and were possibly related to the round hitting the residence.

Residential Burglary – On November 27 at 10:32AM, officers responded to the Sudley Crossing Apartments located in the 10800 block of Gambril Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. A resident of one of the apartments reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 10:00PM on November 26 and 10:15AM on November 27. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the apartment through the rear sliding glass door that was damaged. Miscellaneous property was reported missing.
