Police investigate domestic-related abductions involving women, baby

Abduction | Strangulation – On Feb. 16 at 12:24PM, officers responded to investigate a domestic that was reported to have occurred at the Regency Apartments located in the 9800 block of Shallow Creek Lp. in Manassas (20109) earlier in the day.

The victim, a 28-year-old woman, reported to police that she and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim’s neck and prevented her from leaving the apartment.

Eventually the parties separated, and the accused exited the residence. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Jack MARTIN III. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Described as a black male, 5’10”, 150lbs., with black hair and brown eyes

Abduction | Domestic Related – On Feb/ 15 at 1:13PM, Prince William County police officers responded to a residence located in the 2400 block of Transom Pl. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an abduction.

The investigation revealed that the victim, a 22-year-old woman, and an 8-month old baby, were being held against their will by a family member, identified as the accused. The victim was able to contact other family members who contacted the police.

Responding officers located the baby who was not injured and the victim who sustained significant injuries. The victim reported to police that while being held, the accused struck her about the body and head multiple times.

The accused was also located at the residence and was detained without incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jean Jehiel DELMONT, was arrested.
