Commercial Burglary – On October 6 at 8:52AM, officers responded to the Smart Car Wash located at 13589 Minnieville Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The manager reported to police that the burglary occurred at approximately 1:30AM. Entry was made into the business through the secured door that was found damaged. Surveillance video showed the suspect forced entry into the business and attempted to remove a computer from its fixed position. The suspect fled the scene when he was not able to take the computer. No items were reported missing. The only description is a bald black male wearing a striped shirt.
Armed Robbery – On October 6 at 12:55AM, officers responded to the 3000 block of Sigel Ct. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 19-year-old man, reported to police that he arranged to purchase a phone from a male acquaintance in the above area.
Once there, an unknown man approached the victim and the acquaintance as they sat inside a vehicle. During the encounter, the suspect brandished a weapon towards the victim and demanded his money. The suspect took the victim’s wallet before fleeing on foot. The acquaintance chased the suspect while the victim drove to a nearby business to contact police. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 searched for the suspect who was not located.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On October 5 at 9:12PM, officers responded to the 11300 block of Lucasville Rd. in Manassas (20112) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed that residents heard multiple gunshots in the area. Officers canvassed and located multiple shell casings in front of some residences on Lucasville Rd. No injuries or property damage were reported.
