New principals, assistant principals and more staff appointments at PWC schools

The following administrative appointments have been announced.

Koeen Madsen from the TIPA office will become assistant principal at Marsteller Middle School effective July 22.

Ashleigh Burnett, assistant principal at Parkside, will become the assistant principal at Lake Ridge Middle School effective July 22.

Erin Merica, assistant principal at Lake Ridge Middle School, will become the assistant principal at Parkside effective July 22.

Josie Stephenson, currently with the TIPA office, will become assistant principal at Fred Lynn Middle School effective July 22.

Kaye Bush, professional development coordinator in the TIPA office, will become assistant principal at Glenkirk Elementary School effective July 22.

Julie Svendsen, assistant principal of West Gate, is the new principal of West Gate Elementary School effective July 1.

Kevin Smith, previously principal at Benton Middle School, is the new principal at Potomac Middle School.

David Anderson, administrative intern at Benton Middle School, will become the administrative intern at Potomac Middle School.

Danny Miller, assistant principal at Gravely Elementary School, will become the assistant principal at Montclair Elementary School.
Rosalyn “Briana” Moore will become the director of school counseling at Freedom High School.
Brian Parke, a former assistant activities director in Loudoun County, who worked this past year with the City of Alexandria, will be the new director of student activities at Forest Park High School.

Seth Cameron, a coach and teacher at Forest Park High School, will become the new Activities Director at Brentsville District High School.
