Memorial Vigil for homeless persons lost in 2017 on Dec. 21 at ACTS in Dumfries
In observance of Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day, ACTS will hold a Memorial Vigil on Dec. 21 to remember those homeless people who were lost this year, along with those who sought permanent housing.
The vigil will be held Thursday, Dec. 21, at 5 p.m., at the ACTS Beverly Warren Shelter, 17866 Main Street, Dumfries 22026.
All are welcome to attend; light refreshments will be served after the service. Call ACTS at (703) 441-8606 for more information.
ACTS stands for Action in Community Through Service. The group has been addressing social services needs in eastern Prince William County for nearly 50 years.
