March 16 signup deadline for April 2 STEM careers conference in Bristow

Register by March 16 for the annual STEM career conference to be held Saturday, April 2 from 8 a.m. to noon at Marsteller Middle School. The event is for students in grades 5–12 and interested parents, community leaders, and educators.

Topics for student-centered presentations and workshops scheduled for the conference include statistics, space science, physical therapy, and college planning along with more math, science, engineering, and technology related careers.

Workshops for adults include college financial planning, gender equity, STEM support and innovations.

The event is cosponsored by the Woodbridge Branch of the American Association of University Women and SPARK, the Education Foundation for Prince William County Public Schools.
