Manassas man charged with distributing child pornography

Distribution of Child Pornography – Arrest
On May 22, 2014 Manassas City Investigators, in conjunction with the Northern Virginia-Washington, DC Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, conducted a search warrant at 10112 Makelys Way regarding the distribution of child pornography.  The search warrant was part of the recent month-long “Operation Broken Heart” investigation into the exploitation of children over the internet which led to the arrest of Shea B. BRITMAN, 35, of 10112 Makelys Way.

Numerous items were removed from the residence stemming from the search warrant.  BRITMAN, who was identified as a suspect through investigation and interviews, was arrested on June 5, 2014 and charged with four counts of distribution of child pornography.  He was held on a $7,500 bond and has a court date pending in Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.
